The ideal candidate will: - Be experienced and knowledgeable in the IT vernacular and technical details of how to sell technical consulting services including but not limited tomanaged services and implementation and activation (I & A) services and business consulting to both existing and prospect clients - Have all the key tenants of a successful Sales individual with the ability to build/grow pipeline, qualify leads/deals, work via a standard selling process/lifecycle. Clearly document in our standard CRM all opportunities, maintain sales data, conduct opportunity mapping and generally have all of the disciplines of a well run Sales leader. - Be a strategic thinker who can simply but passionately articulate the value of professional & managed services, as well as the technology solutions that support those services - Be an active listener who can identify services needs within the current customer base and work with others to recommend new service or technology solution offerings that meet our customers needs - Have a positive rapport with customers as well as Account Executives, Customer Operations Business Development, Services, Customer Support, Customer Operations, and Customer Success leaders. - Be able to successfully navigate and support a complex sales environment as a key resource to drive sales opportunities forward. - Understand industry trends in each vertical and be able to tie services value to industry best practices. - Be able to organize content and create client-friendly sales materials to help position the value of services and technology solutions (client stories, proposals, pitch decks, ROI). - Be someone who flourishes in an environment of building something from scratch. - Position will require 30+% travel. Qualifications and Experience: - 10+ years of experience positioning, selling, supporting, or delivering professional and/or managed servicesin the nonprofit, healthcare or higher education vertical markets - Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills. - Excellent working knowledge of technology infrastructure components, including business intelligence, data integration methods, and cloud hosting solutions. - Excellent knowledge of how Services are run in a technology company, such as Professional Services, Managed Services, Business Consulting Services and so on. - Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization (within Blackbaud and with vertical market clients). - Comfort level in owning and managing to a team quota. - Discipline of documenting all sales activities via a standard sales process and lifecycle - Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM preferred - A positive attitude and the ability to stay flexible in a fast paced, changing environment. - Bachelor's Degree Key Goals of the Services Sales Executive: - Meet or exceed a shared services bookings budget, and drive significant (25%+) YOY growth trajectory in subsequent years. - Identify and communicate opportunities for growth based on learned client needs. - Work with marketing to create sales enablement materials, programs, and tools that will help sell services and technology solutions. - Help create compelling and relevant customer stories. - Present customers on the value of services (professional, business consulting and managed), supporting technology solutions, analytics solutions, and Blackbaud products. - Report on the services pipeline, bookings, key opportunities, customer profile lists and team performances to Vertical Market BU Presidents, their sales leaders, Account Executives, and Customer Success Managers Desired Outcomes: - Services bookings budget met or exceeded - Increased internal and external awareness of offerings and ROI. - Growth and maintenance of a sufficient services pipeline to meet set bookings targets.
