Thiscould be your chance to join a company that's known for being innovative,successful and ahead of the curve.With AT&T's history ofsuccess and commitment to emerging technologies, this is the ideal salesenvironment for a professional looking to build an amazing career.As a Technical Sales Consultant 3 Channel, you will beworking as an overlay sales position to our Indirect Channel sales team,provides technical pre/post sales support (80% presales / 20% post sales) toensure successful solution fit and matching of AT&T products and servicesto individual customer needs... customer integration and implementation ofcompany products, services and solutions.------------------Provides technical support during joint sales meetings with customers anddirect sales teams.------------------Majority of time is spent working on individual sales opportunities,--sellingand supporting highly complex company products/services/systems/solutions.------------------Contributes to unit sales plan through pre-sales/post sales technicalconsulting activities.------------------Provides technical support in customer requirements gathering, solution design,sales presentations and product demonstrations--of company products toensure the system is functioning according to specifications.------------------Leads the technical discussions in client meetings across multiple levels anddisciplines to identify business and technical needs, issues and priorities.------------------Formulates responses to customer inquiries/questions concerning--complexsystem software and applications.----------------------Understands, develops and delivers products/services/systems/solutions tocustomer's business, networking--needs.------------------Designs technical solutions involving new and emerging technologies.------------------Requires extensive knowledge of company products and services.------------------Services supported - MPLS/ network based VPNs; premises based VPNs, SD-WAN,VOIP, metro based ethernets and a broad range of security services------------------Knowledge of routing protocols, network architecture including diversity andredundancy.--------------------Assists less experienced peers.------------------Position may deliver product and technology training to customers and salesrepresentatives.------------------Meeting with customers engaged in sales activities at the customer's site,communicating with customers via phone, teleconference, e-mail, etc., relatedto proposed solution/sale etc.------------------A significant portion of the sales engagement is via telephone. Occasionalface-to-face customer meetings and associated travel in region are required.Traveling to and from the customer's premise,providing subject matter expertise regarding technical issues relating to sale;advising customers on suitability of products based on technical needs,preparing proposals, presentations, or bids, including developing pricing,developing strategic plans related to the customer and the proposed solution/sale.------------------Researching and developing customer solutions with AT&T external partners,including design and engineering, and researching customer business andindustry to identify new sales opportunities.Required Qualifications:------------------ Valid driver's licensewith satisfactory driving record------------------ Current auto insurance------------------ Reliable vehicle pertransportation needs of marketPreferred Qualifications:------------------ BA/BS in Telecommunicationsor related Business field.------------------ 5 - 7 years directwork experience preferred.Required Qualifications:------------------ Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record------------------ Current auto insurance------------------ Reliable vehicle per transportation needs of marketPreferred Qualifications:------------------ BA/BS in Business.------------------ 5 - 7 years direct work experience preferred.
