Information $1,837 per week About The Position Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Neonatal Intensive
Care Unit (NICU) Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift:
12 Hours Experience: 2 Years of NICU Experience License: South
Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License Certifications:
BLS, NRP Must-Have: Level IV NICU Experience, or Level III NICU
Experience on a case-by-case basis Floating within scope to meet
facility needs Description: The NICU Registered Nurse provides
individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and
patients. Care is delivered utilizing the principles and practices
of the nursing process. Safe and effective care is crucial while
interacting with other members of the health care team. The unit
provides medical and surgical care for premature and sick neonates.
Common diagnoses include prematurity, respiratory distress, and
neonatal surgical conditions. The NICU offers respiratory and
nutritional support, as well as ECMO/CRRT and surgical support.
Pediatric Palliative care is available as needed. The unit also
supports an infant home monitoring program for infants requiring
monitoring upon discharge. All NICU beds are monitored beds.
Registered Nurse II operates under general supervision and is
responsible for achieving desired patient care results.
